The old Kona Lanes Bowl sign, which was demolished in 2003. It was an Orange County landmark towering above the city of Costa Mesa.

Might have you thinking if bowling will ever make a comeback. It was very popular in the mid-twentieth century. route 66 photos

The Kona Lanes sign was acquired by the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. It's magnificent close up!
